Op. Dr. Mehmet Akgun TEPELI

He was born in 1976 in Konya. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Konya. He started his education at Izmir Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1995.

He graduated from Izmir Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and worked at Dr. Yildirim Aktuna Medical Center in Istanbul.

In 2003, he started his specialization at the 3rd Surgery Clinic in İzmir Tepecik SSK Hospital.

In 2008, he received Endoscopy-Colonoscopy training at Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine.

In 2009, he participated in studies at the Cleveland Clinic in the USA on the Surgical Treatment of Obesity.

He performed Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery in Erzincan State Hospital in 2010, which was performed for the first time in Eastern Anatolia Region.

He has been working at Balkan Hospital since 2015. He closely follows the national and international congresses, developments in Reflux Surgery and Obesity Surgery.
